A couple of years ago, after being a part of a big IT Consulting company, I needed a change. Not in UX, but with how I was doing UX, I needed to be hands on not just a director. Since making that change, I have worked/consulted with some great companies. Oath (Yahoo, AOL), Serta Simmons Bedding, LookyLoo, Asenka Interactive and my venture Health Currency.
As an idea leader and creative team builder, I have integrated new processes and developed training and testing programs with a focus on optimizing original/user experiences and raising the design bar across all verticals. Notable accomplishments include Tomorrow Sleep (Bed-in-a-box), increasing Serta.com, Getting Beautyrest DTC enabled and Oath (after Verizon acquires Yahoo and AOL.
Some ideas I have been working into UX and Design is how UX can structure itself, with AI. In the DTC world, this is extremely important. Page setup, based on modules, then using AI to define those modules, based on analytics, testing, and research.
Boom, a whole new exciting way UX is always learning.
